VENDORS AT THE 2010
CHICO AIR SHOW
(CHICO, Calif.)
– This year the Chico Air Show will not only be hosting entertaining aerial
performances but will also be showcasing great food and vendors at the Chico Municipal
Airport.
At
the Air Show there will be many food vendors providing a wide variety of meals
and snacks to choose from. Fatte’s Pizza
along with Round Table Pizza will be at the air show with delicious slices for
all to enjoy. If air show goers are not
in the mood for pizza they can have a tasty sandwich from Fast Eddie’s Sandwich
Shop instead.
If none of these food items are what air show enthusiasts crave then they
can also choose from the following: Kinder’s BBQ, Best Choice, Big Chico
Burger, Tacos Puerto Vallarta, Taco Truck, Smokin' Mo's, Smoke-n-Thunder Kettle Corn, Danny’s Mini
Donuts or funnel cake provided by Funnel Frenzy, all of which will be at the
Air Show both days.
In
the morning to kick start every day and wake up air show guests Java ‘n Ice
will provide coffee. As the day
progresses and the Chico
heat increases cooler snacking options are available as well. Java ‘n Ice will also be providing cold iced
coffee beverages as well as Scooter’s Italian Ices with their “refreshingly
different” 18 different flavors of ice!
Not
only will there be more than 12 food vendors at the air show but there will be interesting
vendors as well. For the children in
attendance Wimberly Flying Toys and Retro Toys will set up camp along with Bead
Man with his military memorabilia.
Other
commercial vendors include: Eclipse Optics, Book Signing, Trader Joes, Klean
Kanteen, Leeland LaFrance Sales, The UPS Store, AAA, A Main Hobbies, RMD Group
(Ford) as well as one of the air show sponsors, R.W. Knudsen.
Not
only will the Chico Air Show play host to more than 12 food vendors and 13
commercial vendors but the show will also host 10 non-profit vendors as
well. Non-profit vendors include: Butte County
Search and Rescue, U.S.
Coast Guard Auxiliary, Navy Cadets, Vietnam Veterans of America, Caring
Veterans, the Red Cross Three Rivers Chapter, Golden Empire Amateur Radio
Society (G.E.A.R.S.), Mom’s Breasturant, Chico
Performances, and Champion
School.
Media
in attendance at the air show will also include the Enterprise Record and
Growing up Chico among others.
The
Chico Air Show is thrilled to be hosting these vendors and media, and look
forward to displaying many more September 24-26!
Major
sponsors of the Chico Air Show include: Northern California National Bank, Stott
Outdoor Advertising and the City of Chico.
Tickets
are available at Northern California National Bank, Raley’s, the Chico Air
Museum, and the Chico Chamber of Commerce.
