WHO:             Chico Air Show, Inc. presents

 

WHAT:           Chico Air Show 2010

·         There will be a thrilling aerial performance by the nine jets of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds Jet Team

·         Other performers include up and coming female pilot Melissa Pemberton, Kent Pietsch with the world’s smallest “carrier landing,” a jet powered car, Warbirds, a parachute team, military demonstrations, static displays and several flybys

·         A free and entertaining Kid’s Zone for all members of the family

·         Great food

·         Exhibits

·         Souvenirs

·         An amazing Flightline Club that will feature food from the Sons of Italy, along with shade and flight line views!

 

 

 

WHEN: Friday, Saturday & Sunday

                        Sept. 24: 4 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

                        Sept 25 & 26: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

PARKING AT THE CHICO AIR SHOW:

Chico Air Show parking is FREE!

There will be a few lots available at the Air Show for handicap parking and for those who have a sponsor parking pass.

Occurring through out the day  from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday there will be different rides offered for everyone’s taste! Below is a description of each ride offered:


Biplane Rides From Coastal Air tours

The aircraft you will be riding in is a beautifully restored 1926 Travel air biplane which seats two adult passengers plus the pilot. It is one of the rarest and best examples of the Golden Age of Aviation and is the aircraft that Captain Bob is most proud of in his collection.

Butte County Search and Rescue K-9 Demos!

The Butte County Search and Rescue Team is an all-volunteer, non-profit, non-tax-supported auxiliary team of the Butte County Sheriff's Office. Our primary purpose is to provide skilled search and technical rescue services to the residents and visitors of Butte County, California. Due to the varied and often rugged terrain of Butte County, the Search and Rescue team plays a crucial role in locating and rescuing lost or endangered persons.

The Kid's Zone is a hand’s on activity center for kids to enjoy learning about aviation and have a good time at the air show!
